AmeriDream Revived?

There’s an email floating around today that claims a bill to reinstated a reformed version of Down Payment Assistance is being introduced into Congress “as early as tomorrow.”

I can’t find confirmation of this outside of the blogosphere, but it could be accurate. People forwarding & quoting the email show it was signed by Ann Ashburn of AmeriDream.

I’m looking for independing confirmation from a news source with some credibility, such as a major US newspaper.  So far, the New York Times, the LA Times, the Wall Street Journal, Congressional Quarterly and even search engine Google have nothing but blog posts speculating about the topic.

Will post more when I find it.
