…in Highest Number of Realtors per capita.

Yesterday Jay Thompson (my broker, by the way) did some crack research to pull together a list of the top 10 states, by number of Realtors, and compared their population with number of Realtors.

yeah, sounds about right.  Not only has the market done a number on us, but it’s done a number on a lot of us!

Your thinking about moving to Pennsylvania Realtor,

Just saw this in a news crawler headline: “[Nationwide], the number of real estate licensees reached its zenith at 2.5 million in 2008, surging 56 percent from 1.6 million licensees in 2000, according to the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials.” Since then, number of licensees has dropped 3 years in a row!

Thanks for the tip. (and TX is a lot closer to AZ should I ever decide to come back & visit!) :-)

Not so fast, Chris! The PA people are moving to Texas, so to be ahead of the trend you should move to Texas! PA pop declines moving the agent ratio the wrong way as those pops move the TX ratio in our favor. TX does not reciprocate, so it will be a while before all those in-bounders get licensed and get their boots broken in.
