Locally owned business excels – Power Wash and Lube

Even though I’m a free market capitalist – may whoever makes the product that consumers want the most win – I love when a “Mom & Pop” shop can beat out the big guys. And this is one of those times.

Don Compton owns the Power Wash & Lube at 8759 W Union Hills (about 200 feet away from the closest Jiffy Lube!), and if you live in or travel near this area, I recommend letting Don take care of your oil changes or other basic maintenance.

He beats Jiffy Lube on price, and blows them away on customer service. He also has a drive-through car wash (free with an oil change) and an old-fashioned, get-out-of-your-car-and-spray-away, Sheryl Crow-sings-about, car wash, right there on site. I’ve been there a few times this year, and I’ll keep going back. I hope I see you there!
