Heather

In high school, you spend a lot of time answering the fairly ridiculous question, “So, what do you want to be when you grow up?”

I had a stock answer:  ”I don’t know yet, but I know for sure I’ll NEVER be in sales.”

Twenty years later, I’m in sales.

But I like to think that — like my partner Chris — I don’t sell houses. I help people. Those people buy and sell houses, but I never spend much energy at all selling the houses, or the people.

On the way to being a Realtor, I spent several years each as a teacher and a paralegal. Turns out, those two were perfect prep for the kind of Realtor I am today. It’s not my job to sell clients anything. My job is to teach them how to understand the legalese in a contract and use that knowledge to get the best possible deal for them. My job is to negotiate on their behalf so everybody feels the situation is a win-win. My job is also to be a great listener when my clients are feeling nervous about selling or buying the single most expensive thing they’re likely ever going to own — their home.

I like to think I’m a darn good Realtor. If you’d like to know more about me, click around and read some of my blog posts. Or check out what clients have said about me and my partner Chris. Don’t hesitate to email or call me; I don’t “do” high pressure sales. I just give out truthful information about what I’ve seen & experienced in the Phoenix real estate market in the past 5 years, in the hopes that it helps you.
