Ever wonder how they can build such a beautiful bridge out of stone? Maybe they can’t! This new, typical, run-of-the-mill concrete bridge is getting a stone makeover to better blend in with its desert surroundings.

 
a stone bridge being built across the expanded 59th Ave to connect both sides of Thunderbird Conservation Park. This is in Glendale, north of Loop 101, where 59th Ave winds through the desert mountains and becomes Pinnacle Peak Rd.
