Face it, you’ve got old prescription drugs lying around the house. They’re expired, the medical reason you needed them is gone, and you’ve never quite known what to do with them.

Flush ‘em? Ruin the water supply in the process. Throw ‘em in the garbage? Kids and animals might get into your garbage at the curb, and who knows what might get into them at a landfill. Besides, does that stuff biodegrade? Who knows.

Problem solved.

The Scottsdale Police Department is partnering with Scottsdale Healthcare and the City Parks and Recreation Department to sponsor a drug destruction event this Friday, July 17, 2009. Here are the details.
