One thing that always makes me roll my eyes is open toilets in bathroom pictures. Too bad we can't have a "report a violation" button on the MLS system for indicating bad photos, not to mention bad directions and so on.

Good advice as this same incident just happed to me. My agent put a house that I renovated in the MLS last week. I just checked the listing yesterday and the old picture of the house was displayed. It was a picture of the house before we renovated it. Surely no one would have wanted to look at the house. If I had not checked the listing, the property would have stayed on the market 360+ days.

Great advice - I once had a seller correct an input error I had made. The property address was 2679 xyz, and the home's square footage was 2879. I goofed and input the square footage as 2679. Fortunately I had my sellers proof the mls printout and they caught the error, so we were able to fix it within 12 hours of being on the market..

Clearly, aliens have just landed in the front yard--hence erie glow in living room windows and crooked kitchen. Do aliens come with house? are they established renters?

You are right, who knows a sellers home better. I know people who have lost a listing because the zip code was in wrong, and the seller was upset they couldn't find their listing, so they canceled and re-listed with someone else. The information on our MLS is only as good as the person entering it. Give the seller the listing, and have them check it - great advice.

Wow. At least you can play a little basketball in the living room of the first photo. My unborn child could take better pictures than these. Were these taken from a camera phone from five years ago?!?

I want to puke.
