More accurately, the Canadians are coming BACK. I’ve been too busy to write yesterday and most of today, because our winter “Season” has begun in earnest. I’ve been greeting dozens of returning Canadian friends, and former and future clients who have returned to the Valley for their winter vacation.
For locals who live here year-round, our doom-and-gloom media make it easy to forget what a wonderful town we live in. My Canadian friends and clients have spent 2 days reminding me! Our prices are slipping and the real estate market news is grim for sellers. But buyers are having a field day, picking up well-priced investments and vacation homes. More important: our winter weather is beautiful, the city is vibrant and growing ever more culturally diverse, we have a hockey team, which those Canucks LOVE, and did I mention the weather??
Thanks for reminding me how great Phoenix is, all you Canucks. And I’m sorry about that falling Loonie business. if I could fix it I would!
